SCHLENKER, Wanda Miller, 83, of Tampa, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009. Wanda was born in Daytona Beach and spent her adult life in Daytona Beach, Tampa and Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert William Schlenker. She is survived by daughter Kathy Jacobs and husband Gerald of Tampa; son Chris Schlenker and wife Jennie of Prattville, Ala.; son Eric Schlenker of Lutz; daughter Debbie O'Neal and husband Jeff of Lutz; sisters Peggy Johnson and Jean Moores of Daytona Beach; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Wanda spent her life in the service industry helping others. She touched the lives of many. She was a member of Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron for 3 years. She was accomplished in a variety of skills including being a professional pearl stringer. She loved music and played the french horn in college. She is dearly loved and will be missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be private. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to LifePath Hospice at www.lifepath-hospice.org.
