PLISKOW, Stuart Aaron, age 55 of Tampa died Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Mr. Pliskow was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to Tampa at age 18. Along with his brother-in-law, Fred, he co-owned Stoneman's Statue Land for over 20 years and operated Town & Country Wholesale independently. He was a member of Congregation Kol Ami. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Sally Ann, sons, Jared Pliskow and his girlfriend, Amanda of Boca Raton and Ethan Pliskow and fiance', Amanda of Seminole Heights, his mother, Helen Pliskow of Oak Park, MI, brothers, Robert Pliskow of Huntington Woods, MI and Richard Pliskow of Royal Oak, MI, sister, Hope Pliskow of Royal Oak, MI, father-in-law, Dr. Jack Zichlin of Tampa, brothers-in-law, Ira Zichlin and Fred Zichlin both of Tampa, sister-in-law, Edee Hammer of Boca Raton, his best friend, Alan Kideckel along with numerous extended family. Stuart was an avid sportsman enjoyed boating but mostly derived satisfaction from the creative aspects of his work and his family. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at Gan Shalom Cemetery (Located on County Line Road, 1 mile east of Livingston Avenue). Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa 33618. Shiva will be held in Tampa at the Pliskow residence, 4606 Kilcoyne Court, Lutz with a Minyan service Sunday at 7:30 PM and in Michigan at the residence of Robert Pliskow, 10745 Talbot Avenue, Huntington Woods, beginning at 4:30 PM Sunday. A service will be held at 7PM.
