Stephen Szekely

SZEKELY, Stephen Michael, age 70 of Tampa died Monday, January 14, 2019. Mr. Szekely was born in Brooklyn, NY and came to Tampa in 1983 from Washington DC where he had been a reporter on Capitol Hill after graduating George Washington University with a political science degree. Locally he was a research analyst and after retirement pursued community association management. Steve had an affinity for baseball and played in men's senior league. Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Sandy, son and daughter-in-law, Peter & Nicole Szekely, sister, Carole Denner and many extended family members. The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 2:00  PM with a memorial service at 2:30 at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

A Shiva-like gathering will take place at Sandra's home on Sunday, 1/20 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  { 3110 Belmore Road in Tampa, FL }
