Selma Cohen

COHEN, Selma, age 90, of Tampa died Saturday, December 18, 2010 peacefully, at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cohen was born in New York and was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Post 373 of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxillary, Hadassah and a supporter of the Sheriff's Youth Ranch. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ben. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry & Barb Cohen of Tampa, daughter, Sharon Cohen-Hagar and husband Jim Hagar of Chester, NJ, and grandchildren, Dan & Jennifer Cohen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,December 21, 2010 11:00 AM at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish War Veterans, Albert Aronovitz Post 373, C/O P. Stark, 4511 W.
