Sara Krone

Sara L. Krone, age 82 of Tampa died Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Born in Chicago,IL, Mrs. Krone came to Tampa in 1979 from Urbana, IL. She was a member of Congregation Kol Ami, Chabad Lubavitch of Tampa and was a life member of Hadassah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ben. Survivors include her sons, Ronald and Allan both of Tampa, daughters and sons-in-law, Karen & Paul Richards of Boulder, CO, and Ilene & Ted Schwartz of Brandon and four grandchildren, Brian & Lauren Richards and Breanne & Stephanie Schwartz. Graveside services will be held Friday, 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, Tampa with Rabbi Robert Judd officiating. A Volunteer at University Community Hospital, she was a secretary at the University of Illinois - Hillel; The University of Illinois; and at the University of South Florida Department of Education for 17 years. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
