ARGINTAR, Sammie, age 87, of Tampa died Thursday, October 11, 2007. Mr. Argintar was a lifelong resident of Tampa and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He owned Max Argintar Menswear, founded by his father, which he operated for over 60 years in Ybor City. He was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, the Masons and Egypt Temple Shrine. He was preceded in death and will now join again, his beloved wife of 56 years, Dorothy. Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Andrew Argintar (Jennifer Pesci) of Tampa and Dr. Barry Argintar (Marla) of Rockville, MD., grandchildren, Susan, Lauren, Evan and Cliff, brother, Arnold Argintar of St. Petersburg, sisters, Lena Coolik of Wilmington, NC, Florence Lebos of Raleigh, NC., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today, (Friday) 2:30 PM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Bolevard, Tampa. Rabbi Marc Sack and Cantor Moshe Friedler will officiate. Interment will follow at Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
