Ruth Shaffer

SHAFFER, Ruth Ann, age 84, formerly of Tamarac died Thursday, February 7, 2008 in Tampa. Mrs. Shaffer came to Tampa recently from Tamarac where she resided for 15 years. She was a member of Women's American ORT, Brandeis Womens and the City of Hope. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Bernard. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lee M. & Karen Shaffer of Boynton Beach, daughter and son-in-law, Pamela N. & Leo Cotner of Tampa and four grandchildren, Joshua Shaffer, Stephanie Shaffer, Ian Bush and Halli Cotner. Graveside sevices will be held Sunday, 10:00 AM at Star of David Memorial Gardens in Tamarac. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
