Roy Tipps

TIPPS, Roy L., age 89 of Brandon died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Carrollwood Care Center. Mr. Tipps was retired from the US Airforce having served overseas during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Tipps. Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, Cassie, sons and daughters-in-law, Don & Cheryl of Tampa, Gary & Adrienne of Duluth, GA., and Tim Tipps of Tampa, five grandchildren, Payton Woodroffe, Amy Lee, Alex Tipps, Clinton Tipps, Athena Tipps and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, 216 N.Parsons Avenue with Pastor Dr. J. Thomas Green officiating. Interment with full military honors will be follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice.
