Roslyn Ross

ROSS, Roslyn D. of Tampa died on her 91st birthday, May 4, 2007. Roz came to Tampa in 1960 from her native New York. She was a former teacher at the Mac Dill Air Force Base Tinker School, an avid tennis player and an active volunteer including countless hours at Congregation Rodeph Sholom where she was a member for over 40 years. She was a beloved friend to all who knew her. Roz was preceded in death by her devoted husband of over 50 years Herbert. She is survived by her loving children, Judith Ross, Nancy Bokor and David (Carmel) Ross; cherished grandmother of Andrew (Lisa Moss), Jeremy (Dana) Bokor, Joshua, Zachary and Dina Ross and beloved great grandmother of Jacob, Julia and Abigail Bokor. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 this afternoon, Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park with Rabbi Marc Sack officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honors Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
