She was an accomplished softball pitcher for the school as well as a member of local and national championship teams. She was well traveled, taking her love of adventure and her many scuba diving certifications to exotic destinations around the world including New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, Costa Rica, Barbados, Belize, Mexico and the Bahamas. Rose cherished spending time on any beach and always found peace in or near the sea. Survivors include her father and step-mother, Bill Yanger & Sherry McDonaugh, mother and stepfather, Felicia & David Sable, brother, Zachary Yanger, sister and her fiance, Rachel Yanger & Josh Munch, step-siblings Kelli & Martin McDonaugh and Benjamin Sable, paternal grandparents, Bill & Betty Yanger, maternal grandparents, Julia & Henry Kinstlinger along with numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family. Rose's spirited laugh, sparkling smile and over-sized personality were renowned. Her softball community knew her as "Hollywood". She loved her many dear friends in her Ft. Lauderdale recovery family. Rose was always eager to encourage and comfort friends in need of love and support and freely absorbed their love and support in return. She lit up every room she entered and left those rooms full of smiling faces. Truly, no wick could hold her dancing flame. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rose's name through facethemusicfoundation.org to assist in providing resources for those unable to fund their recovery.
