Tampa, Florida
Rosalie Weisbrod (10/2/28 - 12/15/25) a child of Astoria, New York was a New Yorker through and through, even after grudgingly agreeing to move to Tampa in 2015. While never a Floridian, she treasured being close to her family in Florida and is survived by her devoted sons, Stu (Pam) and Dave (Lisa), and 5 grandchildren: Stephanie (Ilan), Carlie (Ryan), Molly (Cory), Heather (Michael) and Emma, along with her 6 great grands, Asher, Arden, Amalia, Ivy, Cora and Ava, as well as two special nephews whom she loved as her own, Brian of California and Lee (Tina) of Wisconsin and grand nieces Anna and Sarah (Brian) and great grand niece Hallie.
Rosalie was predeceased by her husband Meyer (Mike) Weisbrod, her parents, Irving and Cora Bromberger, and her beloved brother Arthur and sister in law Ruth.
Friendship came easily to mom and lasted for decades and generations. From her Wednesday girls in NY to her domino buddies in Tampa and children of her own childhood friends, mom's caring heart and sense of humor were legendary and enduring.
It's an understatement to say mom was organized. A place for everything and everything in its place gives but a sense of her commitment to orderliness. She was well suited to work as a secretary for many years and ultimately transitioned to "domestic goddess" (her own description) after moving to Long Island, or what she referred to as "the sticks."
Mom's support for education was experienced by multiple generations. She was a constant presence at graduations over the course of many years. She wanted every graduate to know she was proud of their accomplishments.
She was one of a kind and her humor, love and companionship are irreplaceable, but the memories are bountiful and will keep us smiling.
