SALADINO, Rosalie, age 77 of Tampa died Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Rosalie was born in Buffalo, New York in 1940 and then moved to Tampa in 1953. In Tampa she attended Franklin Junior high and then graduated from Hillsborough High School (Go Terriers!) in 1959. She worked for the Tampa Tribune for 15 years during which time she met her husband and soul mate, Tony Saladino. They worked side by side until he passed at their construction company building homes and doing commercial remodels around Tampa.
Rosalie is survived by her son, Christopher Saladino (Brittany), step son, Sam Saladino, brother, Charles Rumore (Jackie), brother in law, Vincent Saladino (Celinda), great aunt, Lily Giovenco, nieces, Lynette Rumore, Michelle Mancini (Bobby), Stephanie Musick (Clay, nephew, Steven Saladino and several great nieces and nephews. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Concetta (Vitello) Rumore and her husband Tony Saladino.
Her son Chris was the love in her life and gave her the will, courage and determination to keep fighting her battle with cancer. Rosalie loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She was always happy to help family and friends when they needed her and was always able to find the positive in any situation.
Her friends Gracie and Donald Collado, Suzanne and Barney Manicchia, Antoinette Caproice, Olga and Edwardo Cruz, Tony Saladino and Rosalie Gratz were her guiding angels throughout her life. She could not have made it without them and their support. Rosalie made many friends throughout her life, too numerous to count.
Rosalie was loved and will be missed by all.
