HYMAN, Robert J. "Bob" of Tampa, age 92, passed away on Thursday October 19th, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
In 1934, Bob moved to Tampa from his native St. Louis, Missouri. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII. His career as a
financial planner and stockbroker began at the Goodbody & Co., and Merrill Lynch, where he worked for nearly 40 years before retiring with Dean Witter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rema Hyman and will forever be missed by his daughters, Phyllis Hyman and Sue-Helen Motley,
son-in-law Dick Motley, cherished grandchildren, Kelly Goodrich and Craig Obenauer-Motley, and their spouses Brett Goodrich and Julie Obenauer-Motley,
and great-granddaughter Mackenzie Goodrich. Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 PM at Segal Funeral Home 3909 Henderson Blvd., Tampa.
Interment services will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Congregation Schaarai Zedek.
