Roberta Lynn

LYNN, Roberta P. "Cookie", 81, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. A native from Newark, New Jersey, Cookie moved to Tampa in 1962 and began teaching at Tinker Elementary and Hillel School. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading, and volunteering at hospitals with her therapy cockapoo, Fred. She was a consummate caregiver, caring for her grandchildren and even her former spouse, Bob Lynn's end of life care. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Ellen Lynn, and two grandchildren, Aaron Lynn and Hannah Lynn. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, in Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Jan Platt Library or Hillel Academy.
