Roberta Gordon

GORDON, Roberta "Bobbie", 77, of Tampa, passed away on August 5, 2013. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 22, 1936 to Helen and Frank Weaner who have preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving dedicated husband, of 59 years, Melvin "Mel" Gordon, daughter, Lori Schulis, sons, Randy Gordon and Mark Gordon, grandchildren, Matthew Schulis, Bryan Schulis, Chelsea Gordon, Courtney Schulis, Chandler Gordon, Michelle Gordon, Jessica Gordon and Julia Gordon. Roberta, lovingly known as Bobbie, Mom & NeNe endeared herself to her many friends who will miss her outgoing personality and her loving and giving manner. She was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Temple Avot Sholom, Rodeph Sholom Sisterhood and Palma Ceia Country Club. She was the glue that held the family together and will be dearly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at Congregation Rodeph Sholom , 2713 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, August 8, 2013 at 10:00 am with a graveside service immediately following at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, 4002 N. 50th Street, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Tampa Jewish Federation.
