WITTCOFF, Richard "Dick", age 79 of Tampa died Thursday, January 31, 2013. Mr. Wittcoff came to Tampa in 1955 from his native, New York. He graduated with his BS degree from Wharton Business School and later earned his MBA from NYU. He was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek, was a booster and ardent supporter of USF Basketball and a lifetime member of the John and Grace Allen Society at the University of South Florida Presidents Council. Dick was a devoted family man and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roslyn and devoted son, Ken. Survivors include his daughter, Margie Miller of Bradenton, son-in-law, Dr. Tom Miller, Tampa, daughter-in-law, Jessica Wittcoff, Tampa, grandchildren, Devin Wittcoff, Joshua Wittcoff, Scott Miller and Mark Miller, sister, Linda Hanrahan of New York, brother-in-law, Walter Kessler, Tampa, numerous nieces and nephews and his companion, Carol Osiason, . A memorial service will be held today (Friday), 3:30 PM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa with Rabbi Richard Birnholz officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Schaarai Zedek or USF Athletic Foundation, 4202 E.
