POSADA, Reinaldo G. "Rey", 83 a lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Josephine Arcuri Posada, loving daughter and son in law, Phyllis and Harry Hoover; and cherished grandchildren Brian Hoover and Jennifer Hoover. He was born May 11, 1924 in West Tampa the son of Eduardo and Rita (Garay) Posada. He was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving in France during WWII. Rey worked as a chemical technician in the X-Ray industry until his retirement. He enjoyed fine cigars; clear days with the perfect tide for fishing and to tell the story of the big one that got away. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, 18328 Gulf Blvd., Indian Shores, FL 33785 or LifePath Hospice, 3010 Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609. A graveside service with military honors will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM this evening (Tuesday) with recitation of the Catholic Wake-Rite at 8:15 PM.
