Regina Isen

ISEN, Regina, age 94, of Tampa, Florida died Saturday, March 28, 2015. Mrs. Isen was born in New York and along with her husband, Dr. Paul Isen resided in the Jersey Shore area, Bradley Beach and Deal since 1945. She came to Tampa recently from Long Branch "West End" where she lived for 35 years. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from NYU where she earned her masters in English literature. After teaching English for a brief period of time she was among the first women to become a stock broker and enjoyed a successful career during which she worked for Hugh Johnson and Robert Weston & Company brokerage firms. She was a life member and past president of the Jersey Shore Hadassah and former member of Congregation Agudith Achim. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul . Survivors include her daughters, Judi Rose of N. Caldwell, NJ and Hedy Sacco of Apollo Beach, FL, sister, Selma Hudesman of Oyster Bay, NY and cherished grandchildren and spouses, Lysa Rose (Gianluca Glazer), Evan Rose (Maja), Pierce Sacco and Hunter Sacco. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Funeral Chapel, 2130 State Highway 35, Ocean Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Agudith Achim Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Agudith Achim.
