Rachel Alistair Futterman, 19, passed away September 24, 2007. She was born on February 7, 1988 in Orlando, Florida to Tamela J. and Joel Z. Futterman. Rachel was a sophomore at University of South Florida, Tampa. She graduated from Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas. Prior to that, Rachel attended Lake Mary Preparatory School and The Hebrew Day School of Maitland, Florida. Rachel was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of South Florida. She was an avid athlete and excelled at volleyball, skiing and soccer. Rachel's warmth drew so many people to her. She shared so many special relationships with her family and friends all over the country. Rachel is the granddaughter of Rosalie Goodman of Miami, Florida and the late Robert A. Futterman, and Billy James Bass of Wetumpka, Alabama and the late Shelby Jean Bass of Sylvania, Georgia. She is survived by her parents, Joel & Tamela and her brothers Robert and Jamie Futterman. Heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the entire Futterman and Bass families. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Town & Country Chapel on the grounds of Riverside Memorial Gardens, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.
