Phyllis Yvonne Kalter

KALTER, Phyllis Yvonne, 82, of The Villages, passed away on March 12, 2022. Phyllis was a board member and congregant of Temple Shalom in The Villages, Florida. She enjoyed writing and performing in community theater. She loved to play golf. She was the Co-chair of Temple Shalom Holocaust Remembrance Committee and participated in many events throughout The Villages and schools within the area. She loved to sing, dance, and most especially spend time with her family.  The loss of her friendship and sense of humor will be missed by all that have known her. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Sanford “Sandy” Kalter. Phyllis is survived by her husband Bjorn Wiberg, sons, Dr. Craig Kalter (Ann) of Tampa, Brad Kalter (Julie) of Safety Harbor, and four grandchildren, Rebecca Santamaria (Sebastian), Daniel, Joshua and Samantha. Services took place at Temple Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Holocaust Museum or the holocaust fund at Temple Shalom in Oxford, Florida
