Naomi Galeoto

–

Land O' Lakes, Florida

Naomi Galeoto, lovingly known by her husband of 61 years as Noem, was a radiant soul. She was royalty. A true Woman of Valor. Whose life was a testament to the strength of her faith and the depth of her love. Born on October 9, 1942, in New York City, Naomi's journey was one of grace, dignity, strength, humility, determination, and a steadfast commitment to the values she held dear. Naomi's life was a reflection of Deuteronomy Chapter 6. "Love the Lord your G-d with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commands I give you today are to be on your heart. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, and when you lie down and when you get up. Tie the symbols upon your hands, bind them upon your forehead, write them down on the door frames of your houses and all your gates." That was Naomi.

Naomi wedded the love of her life Daniel Galeoto, on May 1, 1965, and together they built a life filled with love, respect, and joy. Naomi was more than a homemaker, a role that she did cherish. Her home was a haven of love and warmth, a place where family and faith were cherished above all. She was an epitome of Proverbs 31, an Ashet Chayil, a Woman of Valor, whose value was far above rubies. She was a woman of extraordinary dignity, grace, poise, wisdom and beauty, a gentle soul whose quiet confidence in God was her strength. And she was also a fierce warrior, like a mama bear over her cubs.

Naomi loved lavishly and lived purposefully, pouring her heart into her family, her home, and G-d. Her laughter changed atmospheres, her wisdom guided generations, and her prayers shifted the heavens. She touched countless lives and she changed the World forever. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a cherished friend, and a true Woman of Valor who will be deeply missed.

Even in her final moments in this life, she radiated with an undeniable beauty and glory from within. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Naomi is survived by her four children, three sons-in law, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Galeoto. Her legacy of love, faith, and resilience lives on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the generations to come and all who were blessed to know her.

Donations in her honor can be made to Friends of the IDF.
