Myrna Rubin

RUBIN, Myrna Goldine, age 85 of Dover passed away Monday, December 11, 2017. Mrs. Rubin was born in Irvington, New Jersey and came to the Tampa Bay area in the early 90's from Ft. Lauderdale where she had resided for over 30 years. She spent time in Key West and Maggie Valley, NC, where she had homes and enjoyed the change of pace. Myrna was known for her gorgeous smile which drew people to her. You might say she collected friends and smiles. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 62 years, Myron. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Kathy Rubin, daughter and son-in-law, Holli-Ellen Rubin & Jerry Bickel, cherished grandchildren, Michael DeShields (Ashley) and Max Bickel (Samantha), great grandchildren, Edward & Samantha DeShields and her brother, Larry Rubin. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017, 7:00 PM at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Hawthorne Village, 861 West Lumsden Road, Brandon, FL 33511 or to the charity of ones choice.
