GOULD, Morton, age 95 of Tampa died, Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Mr. Gould was born in Worchester, Mass on September 15, 1918. Mr. Gould was educated at Cushing Academy, Ashburnham, Mass and Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. Married to his beloved wife, Zoe, of seventy-one years, they had two children; Hebert and Wendy, three grandchildren, Kelly Clarson, Daniel Gould and Ashley Vest and three great-grandchildren. Morton entered the Army in 1942 and received a medical discharge in 1945. His occupations included, property management, FHA inspecting, while also receiving his certified real estate brokers license. With his family, they moved to Tampa in 1956 and he became an active board member of; Congregation Schaarai Zedek, Tampa Civil Service, Jewish Towers multi-family residences and the USF Mental Health organization. Mr. Gould was vice-president of the Tampa Code Enforcement board, president of; the Jewish Community Center, Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Tampa Home Builders Association, G&E Construction Rivera Corporation and a member of Tampa Masonic Order 32nd Degree and Shriners. A memorial service will be held on, Thursday, January 16, 2:00pm at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, 33629. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
