GOLDMAN, Mortimer "Mort" D., age 92 of Tampa died Thursday, May 9, 2013. Mr. Goldman came to Tampa in 1948 from his native, New York. He served proudly in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Mort had many talents and although he was a general contractor, he tried his hand in many other enterprises including owning a restaurant and, along with his wife, tutoring children in their studies in preparation for their B'nai Mitzvah. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Goldman. Survivors include his beloved wife of 22 years, Ann Rubin-Goldman, son, David Goldman, daughter and son-in-law, Judge Judith Goldman & Gene Burr, step-son, Randy Rubin, step daughter, Dale Danuff and eight cherished grandchildren, Jennah, Alyssa, Jillian, Jarrod, Lauren, Jennifer, Emily and Shayna. Private services will be held. SHIVA SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, MAY 13, 2013, 5:00PM AT CONGREGATION SCHAARAI ZEDEK. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinsons Disease and Movement Disorder Center, C/O USF Health Office of Development, 12901 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., MDC 70, Tampa, FL 33612 or Congregation Schaarai Zedek.
