Mindell Chernoff

Mindell "Mindy" Chernoff died December 17, 2009 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born in Scranton, PA and has lived in Tampa since 1957. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Moskowitz and is survived by her daughter Eileen Benjamin (Doug) of North Carolina and son Dale Chernoff (Tricia) of Tampa; nephew and niece Gary & Barbara Moskowitz of Princeton, NJ; numerous cousins and close friends. She was an active realtor for 30 years, past volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital and the Tampa Bay Visitor's Center. She was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday Dec. 18, 2009 at Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to H.
