Michael Rothburd

ROTHBURD, Dr. Michael I., was born on August 8, 1941 in New York City
to Dr. Charles and Helen Rothburd, who predeceased him.  Michael
received his PHD in Psychology from Ohio University and following
graduation moved his family to Tampa in 1970. Dr. Rothburd served as a
professor at the University of Tampa, ran a Hillsborough County
clinic, and established a private clinical practice that served his
patients for over 45 years. Dr. Rothburd was a founder and helped
organize the Biofeedback Society of Florida, where he also served as
its first president.  Dr. Rothburd’s hobbies included trains, music,
travel, culinary arts, and computers. He is survived by his wife of 55
years, Judith, and his three children, Craig Rothburd (wife Diane),
Cheryl Fisher (husband Steve), Joshua Rothburd (wife Ellen) and four
grandsons, Max Rothburd, Nathan FIsher, Sam Rothburd and Eric Fisher.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 9th, 1:00pm at
Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa, Florida. In
lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Moffitt Cancer Center.
