FROUMAN, Max, age 83, of Tampa died Monday, January 26, 2009. Mr. Frouman came to Tampa in 1971. He retired after 20 years with the Florida Public Service Commission, where he was a utility analyst/auditor. Prior to moving to Florida he was the account/ office manager for 18 years at Inter-County Farmers Cooperative Assn. in Woodbridge, NY. He was a veteran of WWII, Army Aircorps, served as commander of the Albert Aronovitz Post 373 of the Jewish War Veterans and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Rita. Survivors include his son, Dr. Cary Frouman and three grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held today (Tuesday), 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the JWV, Albert Aronovitz, Post 373, Tampa or the National Museum of Jewish Military History, 1811 R. Street NW, Washington, DC 20009.
