Martin Silberman

–

Tampa, Florida

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Silberman, who passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026. Born on January 27, 1951, in the Bronx, NY, Martin lived a life full of love and laughter.

Martin was a kind and gentle soul, and above all else, he was the ultimate family man. Family always came first for Martin. Whenever someone he loved needed help, support, or simply a steady presence, he would drop whatever he was doing to be there. More often than not, he didn’t wait to be asked; he would simply show up, ready to lend a hand, offer a word of encouragement, or just be by your side. That quiet, dependable devotion was the truest expression of who he was.

For 48 years, Martin was a devoted husband to Marcia, and their partnership was built on love, loyalty, and deep respect. He was a loving father who took enormous pride in his children, and his eyes lit up whenever he talked about them. His three grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he treasured every moment he spent with them, from the big celebrations to the simple, ordinary days that he made extraordinary just by being there.

Martin was a man of many talents, but his greatest was the ability to bring warmth and light into any room he entered. His smile was infectious, and his laughter could lighten even the darkest of days. It was his genuine care for others and his unwavering integrity that set him apart. As Albert Einstein once said, “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile,” and Martin lived this truth daily.

Martin is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Marcia Silberman; his children, Aaron Silberman and Rachel Sharma; his brother, Bruce Silberman; and his three cherished grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Beverly and Hyman Silberman.

Martin’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His family will forever remember his sense of humor, his love for life, his gentle spirit, and his unwavering dedication to those he cared about. Martin was not just a man; he was a beacon of light in a world that often seemed too dark.

As we navigate through this time of sorrow, let us remember Martin as he was: full of life, love, and laughter, always there for the people he loved. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
