Marcella Butler

BUTLER, Marcella, 89, of Tampa, died July 26, 2012. She was born in Chicago and moved to Tampa in 1974. She was a dedicated volunteer for SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) and counseled her peers on Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Melvin; daughter and son-in-law Judi Iglesias and Stephen Sonnenfeld; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Paula Butler; four grandchildren, Stephen Iglesias, Victoria Teplin, Lena Kandell and Shayna Iglesias; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind.
