OSTER, Lucille Baker, passed away on May 25 at the age of 93. Mrs. Oster was born in Jacksonville and grew up in Orlando and eventually settled here in Tampa. She was married on June 1941 to her loving late husband, Irving who has preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; Esther and Morris Baker, and her siblings, Joel, Sydney and Dorothy and one son, Richard. Survivors include; son, Stephen Oster of Tampa, daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Alan Levy of Ft Lauderdale; four grandchildren, Eric Lawrence Levy, Hope Levy Mendelsohn, Michael Oster (Cynthia) and Terri Oster Beyer (Darren), two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Benjamin Mendelsohn, one sister-in-law, Bootsie and numerous, dearly adored nieces and nephews. Mrs. Oster was involved and a member of the Rodeph Sholom Synagogue and the sisterhood and the Menoroah Manor in St. Petersburg. Mr. and Mrs. Oster were very charitable in the Tampa community. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you donate to the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28th at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Tampa, at 1:00pm with Rabbi Marc Sack officiating and burial at Myrtle Hill Cemetery to follow.
