Louise Helen Tache

Louise was born on Valentine’s day in 1937- a fitting beginning for someone blessed with an extraordinarily big and strong heart. Born in Reno, Nevada she traveled and lived around the world. She lived in England, Israel where she met Jack, her husband of over 50 years, New York where her oldest daughter Hazel was born until finally settling down in Tampa, Florida were she lived for over 66 years. It was in Tampa where her daughters Irene and Mara were born. She willingly volunteered her time and skills to her Jewish community, Sisterhood Kitchen, Overeaters Anonymous as well as her daughters’ schools. Despite not finishing high school, ensuring her daughters received the best education was paramount to her. Louise always opened up her home to family and friends for celebrations, some religious some just because. All guests always felt welcome and always enjoyed her delicious cooking. Later in life she became a devoted and loving grandparent. When she was able bodied she would be up for any adventure with her grandchildren. You could see the pure joy on her face when she was navigating Bush Gardens in her scooter with her grandchildren in tow.

Louise lived life out loud. She had the gift of gab. If you were in her orbit you knew where you stood. There was never a dull moment in her home. Drama was a constant thread. Highs and lows abounded, her life was colourful and robust. She was loved.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Hazel Wolf and husband Spencer and Mara Klein and husband David; her cherished grandchildren, Ardon, Jacob his wife Hanjoo, Leo and Goldie.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Tache; her daughter Irene, her parents Catherine and Isaac Zetoony; and her brothers Albert and Norman.

May her memory be a blessing
