LINSKY, Loretta, age 84 of Tampa died Sunday, November 30, 2014. Mrs. Linsky came to Tampa in 1950 from her native Chicago, IL. She was co-owner of numerous clothing stores throughout the Tampa Bay area. Loretta was very active in Tampa's Jewish Community giving of her time, creativity and talents to numerous organizations, many as a founder and board member including, Menorah Manor, Hadassah, Tampa Jewish Federation, Israel Bonds, JNF and the former Golda Meir Center. She was a valued member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom and their sisterhood for 65 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Marshall. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, David & Nancy Linsky, Donald & Debra Linsky Mark Linsky (Susan) and Mitchell Linsky (Terry), grandchildren, Sam (Stacie), Ron (Frankie), Eric (Jenna), Jessica (Zach), Jacob, Matthew, Lauren, Alex, Ally, Edward (Jackie)and Meya, eight great grandchildren and two more great grandchildren "on the way". She was a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished grandmother and great grandmother. She led by example and made a difference in the community and the lives of those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 PM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will be at Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be her grandsons, Sam, Ron, Matt, Eric, Edward and Jacob Linsky. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom or Menorah Manor.
