Elozory, Lionel "Link" Elozory passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Herman Elozory and his sisters, Marcella Telles and Zelda Young. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anne Browning Elozory; his children, Ra'anan (Rachel) Elozory of Jerusalem, Israel; Todd (Janet) Elozory of Thonotosassa; Toby (Bonnie) Elozory of Tampa and Amy (Scott) Elozory Newell of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Yehonathan, Rivka, Ariel, Yehuda, Isaac, Ashleigh, Aaron, Alexander, Allie, Cody, Brynne, Ruth, Diana, Briley Jane and Casey; sister, Edith (Gilbert) Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Larry Telles; nieces, Karen Cook, Lori Simmons and nephew, Howard Dratch. He was born in Tampa on October 15, 1928. He graduated from Jefferson High School. He graduated from The University of Florida where he was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi before entering the service as an officer and serving over 30 years in the US Navy, including active duty during the Korean War. He was an active member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Link founded Westshore Glass Corporation in 1954 and served as CEO for over 50 years. He enjoyed tennis, golf, listening to the Sunday Simcha, and spending time with his family. His family mourns this tremendous loss but will forever celebrate his life, with which they were very blessed! He was generous, philanthropic and respectful to all who crossed his path, always eager to lend a helping hand or words of support and encouragement. He always gave of his time and knowledge freely, asking nothing in return. May G-d bless our husband, father and Papa! Funeral services will be held today (Monday), 11:00 AM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Rabbi Marc Sack and Cantor Moshe Friedler will officiate. Interment will follow at Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
