Linda Blum

Linda A. Blum, 65, of Tampa died Monday November 30, 2009. Linda came to Tampa from Louisville, KY in 1973. She was a member and past president of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, past president of the Rodeph Sholom Sisterhood, past president of the Women's League for Conservative Judaism - Florida Region, a board member of Bakas Equestrian Center, and the recipient of numerous awards for her volunteerism and service to many organizations. Survivors include her beloved husband of 46 years, Sam; sons and daughters in law Jeff & Sonya Blum, Scott & Jody Blum, and Aaron & Courtney Blum; daughter and son in law Danielle & Ken Johnson; brother Larry Albright of Wichita, KS; sister Lani Sheley of Moline, IL; and grandchildren, Kyle, Colby, Rachel, Joseph, McKenzie, Madison, and Eli.. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 2, 2009 at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa, with Rabbi Marc Sack and Cantor Moshe Friedler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bakas Equestrian Center, Horses for the Handicapped, 11510 Whisper Lake Trail, Tampa, FL 33626 or a charity of the donor's choice.
