Lillian Altshuler

ALTSHULER, Lillian Falk, age 95 of Tampa, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2015 at home. Mrs. Altshuler came to Tampa 10 years ago from her native Connecticut. Born in New Britain, CT, in 1919, daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline Falk, she was a longtime resident of West Hartford, CT. Graduate of Central Connecticut State College, she was a devoted public school teacher for many years and then an astute retailer of women’s apparel. She will be missed by her beloved husband of 70 years, Carl, her son and daughter-in-law, David & Linda Altshuler of Larchmont, NY, daughter and son-in-law, Joan Altshuler & Lee Rubin of Tampa,and four grandchildren, Daniel (Robin) Rubin, Suzanne Altshuler, Jonathan Altshuler, and Samuel Rubin. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Museum of Jewish Heritage in NY- www.mijhnyc, the Amy Gail Buchman Pre-School or Lifepath Hospice. Shiva will be observed, December 30, 31st and January 1st, Tuesday thru Thursday, 7:00 PM at the home of Joan Altshuler & Lee Rubin, 204 South Woodlynne Avenue, Tampa.
