Lewis Katz

KATZ, Lewis, age 61 of Tampa died Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Mr. Katz was born in New York and came to Tampa in 1991 from Maplewood, NJ. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and worked for Lebhar Friedman, Inc. in New York where he was the Corporate Director. He was a member and past treasurer of Congregation Beth Am. Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Harriet, son and daughter-in-law, Justin & Yael and granddaughter, Ella, brother and sister-in-law, Fred & Susan Katz of Texas., and sister, Paula Feinberg of New Jersey. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Congregation Beth Am with interment at Gan Shalom Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the compassionate and caring staff of Dr. Rand Altemose. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Am, Camp Coleman Fund or to the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Am: Justin B. Katz Israel Experience Scholarship Fund.
