Lawrence Lempert

LEMPERT, Lawrence Alexander, age 77 of Odessa died Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Mr. Lempert was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was an attorney in Tampa for 47 years in private practice. Larry was a Traffic Magistrate and also could be heard for many years on WFLA where he was a radio show host. Prior to his professional career, he served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League and the D.A.V. He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Suzanne Lara. Survivors include his beloved wife of over 40 years, Wendy, daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda Lempert, Stephanie & Martin Orlick and Sandy & Andrew Pullium all of Tampa, son, Greg Lempert, Tampa and grandchildren, Jake, Molly & Katie Orlick, Zach Lempert and Cody Underwood. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:00 PM at Congregation Beth Am, 2030 West Fletcher Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hillel School of Tampa.
