Kenneth Bletsch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Bletsch, who left us on March 6, 2025 at the age of 75. He was a man who truly loved life, embracing every moment with warmth, laughter and a deep appreciation for the people around him.

Kenneth was born on February 18, 1950, in New York, New York, to Charles and Gladys Bletsch.

Kenneth graduated from Waynesburg College and belonged to the Theta Chi fraternity. He cherished his friendship with his college friends and always loved gatherings at their reunions.

He worked as a teacher at the Carver Center in Tampa for many years.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ken found his greatest joy in his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He was a passionate sports fan, cheering wholeheartedly for his favorite teams, especially football and his beloved New York Yankees. He never missed a chance to root for his teams.

He also was big into Fantasy Football. He was a member of the Rosedale Rams, which was a Suncoast Football League team. The Rosedale Rams won the Ray Dunlap championship trophy in 2015.

Beyond sports, he had a deep love for the ocean – finding peace in the sound of the waves and the endless horizon.

Kenneth Bletsch leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and a spirit that will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Oksana Bletsch, his sons, Rouslan and Tyler Bletsch, daughter in law, Kayla Bletsch, grandchildren, Liam and Lucas Bletsch, brother, Gary Bletsch and sister-in-law Heidi Bletsch, and one nephew and two nieces.

Kenneth may no longer walk among us, but his spirit, his laughter, and his love will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
