Katherine Patteson

Katherine (Bunty) H. Patteson 89, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on April 24, 2009. Bunty was born in Cambridge, MA on June 4, 1919. She grew up in the Boston area where she attended Dana Hall School and later graduated from Russell Sage College, Troy, NY. Bunty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James H. Patteson. They moved from Gloucester, MA to Tampa in 1975. Bounty's' loves were her family, friends, tennis, and her zest for life itself. She was a most kind, compassionate, and giving lady. Survived by her brother, Don Holbrook; daughter, Suzanne Patteson and significant other, Maclin Stewart; Deborah Lindaman; Carol Tomeo and husband, David Tomeo; 2 grandchildren, Jon and Katie Tomeo; 2 wonderful caring caregivers, Dorothy Engel and Muriel (Patsy) Cox; and 2 loyal friends, her dogs Winston and Rosco. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in her name to LifePath Hospice or to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at the Village Presbyterian Church in Carrollwood Village on Tuesdsay, April 28th at 4:00 p.m.
