Judy Lewinsohn

LEWINSOHN, Judy, age 84, of Tampa died Thursday, July 8, 2010. Mrs. Lewinsohn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and came to Tampa in 1979 from South Florida. For many years she volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital and John Knox Village up until just a few weeks ago. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Herbert. Survivors include her sons, Mark Butler and Henry Lewinsohn both of Tampa and Arnie Lewinsohn of W. Palm Beach, daughters, Dixie Morgese of Ormond Beach, Florence Butler-Neubauer of Orlando and Irene O'Connell of Tampa 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and hundreds of "adopted" grandchildren and extended family members who she cherished. The family will receive friends at a gathering to celebrate her life on Monday, from 10:00 AM until noon at the chapel at John Knox Village, 4000 East Fletcher Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice.
