Josephine Posada

POSADA, Josephine Arcuri, 89, a lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away holding the hand of her daughter on Sunday, August 28, 2011. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Reinaldo "Rey" Posada. She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law, Phyllis and Harry Hoover and cherished grandchildren Brian Hoover and Jennifer Hoover. She was born January 20, 1922 in Ybor City the daughter of Nicolo and Giovanna (Comapretto) Arcuri. She was the medical record's librarian at A. A. Gonzalez Clinic for over 20 years and continued working in Medical field until her retirement. Josephine enjoyed ceramics and making crafts for those she loved always-adding the special "Nana touch" to make it just right. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on with recitation of the Catholic Wake-Rite at 7:00 PM.
