Jonathan Carron

Jonathan A. Carron, 71, of Tampa, passed away on 11/13/2023. He graduated Cum Laude from Colgate University and while earning his master’s degree from the University of South Florida, enjoyed teaching French to many undergraduate students.  He graduated from H.B. Plant High in 1969, as a member of the National Honor Society and the school band (and trumpet player in the “German Band,” the school’s pep band).  Jon was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Claudia Carron, and his parents Blossom R. Carron, PhD and Jonas Carron, M.D. He is survived by his brother, L. Mark Carron (Cynthia). Memorial donations may be made to the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida or the Carron Family Foundation DAF at Raymond James Charitable, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Graveside services were private.
