GARTEN, Joan Vera, age 82 of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Bayswater and Atlantic Beach LI, New York, died Sunday, September 4, 2011. Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Irwin, daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Michael Shaw of Tampa, daughter, Leslie Conover of Lawrenceville, NJ, five grandchildren, Allison Shaw Rosenblatt, Evan Shaw, Andrew Shaw, Michael Conover, Jenny Conover and great granddaughters, Emma & Kara Rosenblatt. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 2:30 PM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 West Swann Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Schaarai Zedek or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
