Jack Roth

ROTH, Jack, age 65 of Tampa died Monday, April 23, 2012. Mr. Roth came to Tampa in 1975 from his native, Youngstown, Ohio. He was a contractor and commercial real estate developer in Tampa, but will be most remembered for his leadership and contributions to the Jewish community. Mr. Roth was past president of Tampa Jewish Federation and was recipient of numerous awards for his ongoing and exceptional contributions to the community including the 2007 Tikkum Olam award. In addition to his involvement Federation and the JCC. He was a board member of the Weinberg Village and was instrumental in founding TampaBay-Job-Links Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Deborah , daughters, Heidi Roth and Lisa Roth both of Chicago, IL, brothers and sisters-in-law, Harris & Sheryl Roth of Boca Raton, Samuel A. & Judy Roth of Youngstown, Ohio and Eli & Renee Roth of Cincinnati, OH, sister-in-law,Sandra Copperman Zians and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 AM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery.
