Jack Maisler

Jack Maisler passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2011 with his son and daughter-in-law by his side. Grandpa or Unc, as he was known to his loved ones, is survived by his sons Jay (Sofia) of Tampa, Fla. and Lee (MaryLou) of Manlius, N.Y., six grandchildren, Jake, Jessica, Rachel, Sarah, Brian and Aaron, as well as his beloved nieces Sharon (Lenny) Mollo of Virginia, and Helene (John) Dompierre of Alabama, and their children, Carolyn, Kim (Robbie), Paul and Robert. Jack was born Sept. 12, 1922 in San Francisco, Calif. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he married the love of his life, Irma. Irma died in 1991. They raised their sons on Long Island and retired to South Florida. Jack loved the Florida sunshine, travelling and spending time with his family. ... At least it was a nice day.
