SOLOMON, Isaac Barret, age 23, lifelong resident of Tampa, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 in NewYork. Isaac was a 2006 Graduate of Berkeley Preparatory School and graduated from New York University in 2011 with Highest Distinction (History Honors Program). He was fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew and wrote his NYU senior honors thesis on Funke Music entirely in Portuguese. He presently was a second year student at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University where he was selected for membership on the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. Isaac loved life and all it had to offer. He was clever, caring, sweet and intellectually gifted. His true passion was music and he was an accomplished musician. He planned a career in the music industry with emphasis on its intellectual property components. Isaac interned with Sony in the licensing department for Sony's Zomba label. Survivors include his parents Sandy & Sabrina Solomon and Sheila Solomon Rudd and her husband Edward, and four sisters, Beryl (Michael), Shayna, Arielle and Ellesheva. Funeral services will be held today (Tuesday), 1:00 PM at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Country Roads Foundation, 67 Poplar Street, Suite GB, Brooklyn, NY 11201 for academic and musical enhancement opportunities for underprivileged, inner-city children.
