Irene Strauss

STRAUSS, Irene Finsterwald Weinberg, age 93 of Tampa died Sunday, January 20, 2008. Mrs. Strauss was born in Burckenauer, Germany and came to the U.S. in 1934. She was owner of a company that manufactured surgical appliances and prosthetics. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Weinberg (1954) and second husband, Eddie (1997). Survivors include her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Beverly & Michael Stevens of Tampa, son, Howard Weinberg of Houston, TX., brother, Erwin Finsterwald of Hallandale, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Burial was held in Pinelawn, N.Y.. The family will observe Shiva at the Stevens home, 4701 Deerwalk Avenue, Tampa, FL. 33624 Wednesday and Thursday evening at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Rd., Tampa, FL. 33618.
