Ira Gordon

Ira Gordon, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022, in Tampa, Florida, at age 85. He was born in Chicago on January 11, 1937. Ira had a zest for life and loved food, travel, boating, and he made friends wherever he went. 
Ira is survived by his beloved wife Yolonda, his children; Ricky Gordon (Laural Gordon) and Debbie Grant (Daniel Grant), and proudly four grandchildren; Alex Gordon, Tara Gordon, Jonah Grant and Olivia Grant, his sister Joyce Jacobson, and many loving extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Eva Gordon, and his brother, Melvin Gordon. 
A celebration of Ira’s life will be on Thursday, November 10th at 11:00 AM at The Bayshore Diplomat, 2611 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL. Contributions in his memory may be made to The Parkinsonlife Corporation in Tampa, Florida.
