Ieda Fernandes

FERNANDES, Ieda Chapoval, age 48 of Tampa died Saturday, December 15, 2012. Mrs. Fernandes was born in Brazil and came to Tampa from New York in 2005. She was an attorney and was principal of the Chapoval Fernandes Law Group in Tampa. Ieda traveled extensively in Brazil, Israel, Canada and throughout the U.S. and was a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek. Survivors include her beloved companion of 28 years, her husband, Dr. Angelo Fernandes, cherished son, Daniel, her mother, Aldecy Chapoval of Tampa, brother, Eduardo Chapoval of Miami and sisters, Anita Chapoval of Clearwater and Esther Chapoval of Tampa. Ieda was a wonderful wife and mother using her energy and creativity to make regular days a celebration while playing with her son. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 PM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow at Schaarai Zedek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Suncoast Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3507 East Frontage Road, Suite 300, Tampa, FL 33607.
