Hilda Steinberger

STEINBERGER, Hilda Rosen, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2019. Born in Hazleton, PA on May 8, 1923, Hilda lived her adult life in Pottsville, PA before moving to Miami, Pembroke Pines and Tampa, Florida. She was the loving wife of the late Irving Steinberger and is survived by her children, Terry (Les) Freedman, Mark (Ann) Steinberger, and Ellen (Alan) Nastir; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Goldberg, Sara (Jared) Steinberger Shapiro, William Steinberger, Brett (Becca Reingold) Schuster, Alexa (Kip) Hoppe and Michelle Nastir; great-grandsons, Josh and Matthew Goldberg. Graveside services were held in Miami, Florida. The family thanks all the staff at Weinberg Village Assisted Living Facility/Memory Unit for their kindness and compassion shown to Hilda. Donations in her memory may be sent to Weinberg Village, 13005 Community Campus Drive, in Tampa. Her life was about family, both immediate and the many members of her extended family.
